This new program offering has something for cadets and for seniors who work with cadets! The Cadet Programs Officers Academy is perfect for inexperienced or experienced Deputy Commanders of Cadets, Activities Officers, Leadership Officer, Unit Commanders, and anyone who works with cadets! The course will be led by experienced Cadet Programs personnel who have a combined 100+ years of Cadet Programs experience. This will also be a working seminar where you will leave the weekend with things your unit needs in order to grow, perform, and pass your next SUI! You will also be able to network with other CPOs from around the wing.
The other half of this program is the Cadet Commander’s Course. This course is designed for current and soon-to-be Cadet Commanders. Registration will initially be limited to a maximum of three cadets per unit, and the unit commander will need to approve all registrations. This will also be a working course where you will develop training plans, goals, and there will be joint classes along with seniors from the Cadet Programs Officers Academy so you can all work on making your unit even better!
Much of the programming will be hands-on learning as well as an opportunity for you to walk away with usable tools and outputs!
