Aircrew Training School
Wisconsin Wing will hold an Aircrew Academy on 20-22 March 2020 at Volk Field ANGB, Camp Douglas (just 15 miles east of Tomah). The cost for this training is $50 per person. This price includes course materials, meals (breakfasts, lunches, and Saturday evening dinner) and billeting at Volk Field ANGB for Friday and Saturday nights. This is an Air Force Assigned training mission, so reimbursement for Wisconsin Wing members will be available.
The Academy is open to both senior members and cadets over the age of 18. Members from other wings are welcome. Personnel who need to renew ES ratings may attend as well. Participation is limited to a “first come, first serve” basis.
ES Specialty Training Offered:
Participants may only train in one ES specialty and MUST have the following by the registration deadline:
General ES rating or higher
• Introductory Communications User Training (online & practical testing) completed
• Prerequisites completed for the ES Specialty rating selected.
Academy staff will advise what you are missing after you register and recommend a course of action. Personnel renewing ratings will be used as “mentors” for other trainees during the practical exercises.

This is an Air Force Assigned training mission. Reimbursement for fuel & oil is available for Wisconsin Wing members ONLY. Vehicles must be signed into WMIRS and sorties entered. A WIWGF 7 signed by your unit commander MUST be uploaded in WMIRS w/supporting documents. See CAPR 77-1, 1-8b for more information on POV use.
