Capt Thomas Hudner, USN (ret) Scholarship of Honor

I am pleased to announce the 6th annual Scholarship of Honor from the Brain LaViolette Scholarship Foundation in honor of the late Captain Thomas J. Hudner, USN (ret). Capt Hudner was the first Medal of Honor recipient from the Korean War.

The award will be a $500.00 financial scholarship along with a Scholarship of Honor Medal presented to a Wisconsin Wing Cadet. The scholarship will be awarded at the annual wing conference.

The scholarship criteria is simple, recipients must be a graduating senior in high school and an active Wisconsin Wing Civil Air Patrol Cadet having demonstrated leadership within the wing and entering the U.S. Armed Forces OR a form of community service or public safety (e.g. law enforcement, criminal justice, EMT, fire safety, teaching, ministry, social work, nursing, or any medical field) after high school graduation.
