Great Lakes Region Cybersecurity Camp Registration is open!
On behalf of the Great Lakes Region, Michigan Wing Cyber Education is accepting cadet registrations for a summer Cybersecurity Camp at Ferris State University (FSU) in Big Rapids, Michigan.
The purpose of the camp is to allow you to grow your knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, cybersecurity careers, cybersecurity defense techniques, and leadership—while having some fun in the process! You’ll be a stronger CyberPatriot competitor in the fall, with sharper leadership and teamwork skills, and maybe some ideas about your future education and career options.
In addition to the cybersecurity lab work, the camp includes outdoor teambuilding and leadership activities—a ropes course and canoeing on the Muskegon River.
For more information, and to register, see: http://www.miwg.cap.gov/cybersecurity-camp/
The registration deadline is 1700 on Wednesday, 27 June, but don’t wait. A standard CAP application endorsed by your leaders is required, along with other CAP forms. In addition, space is limited, and registration will be closed once the available student slots are filled.
