April Commander’s Corner
It was great seeing everyone at Wing Conference in Chippewa Falls. I hope that you brought back new ideas to share with your members. Sharing and mentoring are the keys to the success of a member and Civil Air Patrol. Taking a personal interest and guiding new members builds a strong future for your squadron and our wing. We need to develop their self-confidence, provide meaningful training and value their contributions in a fun environment to ensure our members are poised for success.
As we enter a very busy year, we need all hands on deck. It is the perfect time to get all of our members involved outside their squadron box. We have several key events that require many hands to carry the heavy load. Here are a few of the larger opportunities: Ops/Eval, NFA, Patriot North, NESA, EAA (several hundred members needed), encampment, AE Weekend (AE and O-flight missions), SAV and Compliance Inspection.
We need your help! Are you willing to do your share of the lifting?
