July Commander’s Corner
Wisconsin Wing Team Members,
We are approaching the end of our operational period, fiscal year 2016. What does this mean to you? It means we have training funds and orientation ride funds that need to be utilized. We have mission training open the entire month of August and most of the month of September.
If you need an ES qualification renewal, Counterdrug qualifications or you are a cadet wanting to fly, contact your commander or the monthly mission incident commander. WE HAVE EVERY OPPORTUNITY WAITING FOR YOU! It is up to you to step forward and take advantage of the opportunity. We need our ground teams out perfecting their skills too.
We also have a responsibility to fly a minimum of 200 hours on EACH aircraft. That means 2800 hours just to meet the bare minimum. We have several squadrons that have achieved the goal but we have work to do.
I would like to thank the Racine Composite Squadron for securing more than 200 hours on three aircraft and are now flying a fourth aircraft to push us over the magic number.
Thank you all for being part of honing our skills and ensuring Wisconsin Wing is mission ready at all times.
Train Safe and Train Often!
