Rib Mountain member set to retire

JBURBY_R (1)Major John Burby of the Rib Mountain Senior Squadron recently retired after many decades of service to the Civil Air Patrol. He played a critical role in the squadron serving in a variety of positions such as Operations Officer, Supply Officer, Logistics Officer, and Maintenance Officer.

As part of his retirement, Major Burby received a personal letter of congratulations from Major General Joe Vazquez, CAP’s National Commander. Captain Keith Matthews, the squadron’s commander, said that it will probably be impossible to replace Burby.
