Brown County Senior Squadron hosts aviation seminar with local EAA chapter
On February 27 the Brown County Senior Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol and the Experimental Aviation Association’s Chapter 651 jointly hosted an educational event at the Aust Straubel International Airport. The program included two separate aviation seminars and a chili lunch.
Aviators took advantage of the opportunity to feed both mind and body. All totaled, 68 participants participated in the day’s events. In the morning sessions Mr. Richard Mamrosh, a National Weather Service aviation forecaster, presented “Improve Your Weather Forecasting Skills”.
Following lunch, Mr. Mack Dickson, the Experimental Aviation Association’s Government Advocacy Specialist, gave a presentation on the Experimental Aviation Association’s latest advocacy efforts and how those efforts impact general aviation stakeholders.
Thanks to the generosity of Jet Air Group, the event was held in one of Jet Air’s heated hangars at Green Bay’s Austin Straubel International Airport.
