Fox Cities cadets learn about STEM through rockets and aerospace

The Fox Cities Composite Squadron recently had the chance to experience aerospace close up and hands-on.  Dr. Barton Pritzl, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Physics and Astronomy Department presented to the squadron about the recent lunar eclipse and moon phases.  The presentation complemented the Aerospace Education Field Exercise that took place at High Cliff State Park from August 21 to 23. During the weekend event cadets built and launched rockets and learned to calculate the distance and height of each flight.002
