Slots still available for NESA

NESAThe 2015 National Emergency Services Academy (NESA) is being held at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Session 1 runs 18-25 July. Session 2 runs 25 July – 01 August. Slots for many courses still remain.

Personnel are asked to apply by 03 JUNE if they wish to claim one of these slots. NESA offers a variety of programs again this year, and a list of the courses and dates is below:

Anyone interested in applying can do so online through e-services: https://www.capnhq.gov/CAP.Events_NESA.Web/Form31.aspx.  Additional information about NESA and the courses available this year can be found at: http://nesa.cap.gov/. Encampment completion is not a requirement to attend NESA.

Financial assistance is also available:

–       Cadets can apply for financial assistance via the Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP). However, funds are almost exhausted for this program so cadets should apply immediately. It is likely funds will be gone by 05 JUNE if not sooner.

–       NESA offers scholarships as well. Application forms are available in the NESA registration area in e-services.

–       Members are encouraged to coordinate transportation. Corporate aircraft and vehicles may have their costs paid for pending prior approval by NESA.
