A Holiday message from Colonel Hunt
The Holiday Season is such an important time of year as we gather family near. We also reflect on the last twelve months and make resolutions for the New Year.
2014 has been a very busy year in Wisconsin Wing. We have held more than a thousand squadron meetings, were Highly Successful in our compliance inspection, had a change of command in eight squadrons including our wing, shot off dozens of rockets, completed a little bit of paperwork, our pilots put over 200 hour average on all of our aircraft, gave 544 orientation flights to cadets, 3 cadets earned their Spaatz Awards, honored our WWII Veterans with their Congressional Gold Medal Award, laid wreaths for our fallen heroes, we have raised funds to ensure our financial future, rang bells, sold coupon books and wrote grants. And the list goes on and on… This is just a small sample of what you have ALL accomplished this year. I am so proud of you Wisconsin Wing!
THANK YOU ALL! Each of us plays an important part in the success of our squadron, group, wing and Civil Air Patrol as a whole. I am truly honored to serve you as your wing commander.
May you have a Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year.
Don’t forget to show your appreciation for your squadron members by submitting them for awards before January 15th!
