Milwaukee, Wis. – Civil Air Patrol’s Milwaukee Composite Squadron #5, Timmerman Composite Squadron and Waukesha Composite Squadron honored our nation’s veterans at Milwaukee’s 49th annual Veterans Day Parade.  The squadrons were among several hundred units, which marched the 16-block route from downtown Milwaukee east to the city’s Veterans Memorial Park on the shore of Lake Michigan.

The parade exposed hundreds of onlookers to the Cadet Program and the adults who support it.   The cadets, under the command of Cadet First Lieutenant Michael Leggett, used this opportunity to hone their color guard and drill team skills, while showing pride and gratitude for our veterans’ service.  This is the second year that the three squadrons have participated jointly in this event.
