People & Paws are a volunteer, non-profit organization based in Milwaukee.  They provide specially trained people, dogs and resources to assist in locating missing persons.

Working with search dogs is required for Civil Air Patrol members seeking their Ground Team Level 1 rating.  People and Paws also instructed squadron personnel in litter carrying and use of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during urban searches.

The squadron, represented by 23 cadets and eight seniors, also learned map reading, orienteering, how to conduct an interview, electronic and manual search techniques during the weekend-long practice exercise.
